Cappadocia, where one finds the most fantastic landscapes in the world, lies in Central Anatolia between the towns of Nevşehir, Kayseri and Niğde, framed by 3 mountains (extinct volcanoes) like Hasan Mountain (3.268 m/10.722 ft), Erciyes Mountain, also known as Argeus, (3.916 m/12.950 ft) and Melendiz Mountain (2.963 m/9.721 ft). The hardened lava of these extinct volcanoes, at different densities everywhere, was exposed to erosion over centuries and, once the softer parts eroded, such different shapes, named as Fairy Chimneys by the locals, emerged.

One can easily spend weeks in Cappadocia and its environs to explore the amazing sites along with the hidden ones. Our suggested tours include the main highlights, especially for the first time comers to the region, while it is always possible to add up more sites. However, when the time limit on the trips are considered it would be best to stay 2-nights/3-days in Cappadocia including 2 daily tours plus the Hot Air Balloon Flight, a unique experience for the visitors, and, if interested, Turkish Night Show or Whirling Dervishes Performance. If you have extra time, you may also consider extending your stay by adding horse riding, ATV experience and self-walking through the numerous paths leading to many different colorful valleys.

The climate of the region is dry and sunny in both summer and winter. The best time to visit the area is the spring and autumn though the heat is never excessive and the nights are always cool even in the hottest days of July and August.

We offer most of our tours either on "Group" or "Private" basis. Hence there may be two different rate categories on our price list The main difference between these two is that there might be some other participants as well in a group tour whereas private tours are made without any others rather than the clients who have booked it.

Though private tours are relatively more expensive they are more convenient and flexible for the people who are keen on their privacy. Due to the fact that our group tours can be booked until the very last moment we can never give you the exact number of the tour participants when asked in advance. However, the average group number varies from 6-10 and never exceeds 25. Our group tours run with minimum 2 persons.

Our private rates are given for up to 10 persons and if there become 11 or more participants a special rate will be given.

All the tour rates include a government licensed English speaking professional guide (Private tours can also be carried out on the required language with an additional amount of $50 on daily basis – depending on the guide availability), air-conditioned transportation and admission fees as specified on the itinerary, unless otherwise noted. Depending on the situation we can use a guide who can also drive at the same time or a separate guide and a chauffeur. Parasol Tours reserves the right to make decision in this respect without informing the other parties – unless otherwise is contracted in advance.

Daily tours' rates do not include airport pick-up and drop-off fees.

Timings given for the daily tours are approximate ones and they are all subject to change. Pick-up times may vary depending on the number of the participants and hotel locations.

Most of our daily group tours start at 09:30 from your hotel. Those who sign-up for a ballon flight are generally back to their hotel by 08:30 after the flight, which means that they may also book a group tour after having returned from the ballooning experience while they will also have time to enjoy their breakfast prior to the departure.
